Hello. My grandmother had recently passed on. She was born Juliet Carranza (I believe Maria Julieta). her mother and father was Delfidra and Julio Carranza (brother of Venustiano). When my grandmother passed on, I found out that my aunt had some information on a family tree. So it sparked me to find out more. Is there any information you can give me please. I was wondering if im related to Venustiano Carranzas because my great grandmother was Ignacia Flores and supposedly my greatgrandfathers name was Emilio Carranza

I am very sorry to hear about your father. I was just looking up my great grandfather who is Venustiano Carranza and came across this. My father is Carlos Morris Busselle III his mother is Beatrice Carranza. I don’t really know them, hense my curriosity. Well hello, I suppose we are related somehow; my name is Jennifer Busselle. I was looking up some information on the Carranza family and I found your site. Your message was posted in 2007 and I don’t know if your father is still with us but. if he is still with us I praise God and ask him to give you the strength to continue taking care of him. If he is not I am sure that he is now in the presence of our Lord and that He is able to give you His peace that surpasses all understanding.

My case is a little bit more complicated. I am a Carranza and my father, Tomas Carranza Puente, was born near Cuatro Cienegas in the Rancho El Coyote near San Bartolo Durango in 1892. But, what I don’t know is if my father came from the Jesus Carranza family.

What I do know is that my wife’s mother was also a great-granddaughter of one of the Jesus Carranza’s daughters named Ignacia (Mama Nacha) and sister of Venustiano and his other brothers and sisters.

So I find myself being a Carranza that doesn’t know his antecedents and married to a woman that is indirectly also a Carranza. My wife’s mother’s name was Delia Riojas and was born in Sierra Mojada, Cohauila, Mexico which I believe is also in the area of Cuatro Ciengas. My wife’s grandparents were Leobardo Riojas and Maria Carranza Ramos. My wife’s grandfather was killed during the revolution when he was mistaken for one of his relatives who was a Carranzista fighting against Pancho Villa.

I also know Ismael Carranza who says he is a direct descendant of one of the brothers of the father of Emilio Carranza, the famous Mexican aviator. Ishmael lives in Springs TX near Houston.

I will keep looking into your web site and see if someone else has more information on the Carranza family.

Emilio Carranza used to visit my wife’s relatives in El Paso TX when he would come by Juarez Mexico in one of his many flights.

My name is Jose Flores and my great grand father was Venustiano Carranza Cousin. My great grand father was Jose Hipolito Carranza and he move from 4 Ciengas to Candela Coahuila. He fought with Venustiano during the Mexican Revolution.

If any of you have the opportunity to visit Venustiano Carranza in Mexico City, is a few blocks away from el Angel de la Independencia. There is a los of documentation about Venustiano Carranza Family.

A few days ago in New Jersay, Family from Emilio Carranza, got together to remember his fall flying back from Washington D.C. to Mexico City. He was the firts to Fly non stop from Mexico city to Washingto D.C. there is a lot of information available on the net.

Time has pass and There is no more data about your Dad Healt, I hope he is doing o.k. I will keep him in my prayers too.

Keep in touch we may be able to start tracking a lot of carranza’s family members.
